Nikki grew up in Decatur, Illinois, about an hour south of Bloomington. She came to ISU and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice as well as her minor in Sociology. She is currently finishing her first year of a Master’s Degree in Strategic Human Resources with concentrations in both Leadership and Development as well as Employee Relations. Nikki is currently an employee of the Laborer’s International Union of North America* and has been with them for the past three years. She has a beautiful three-year-old chocolate lab husky mix, named Zoey. She adopted her from the Humane Society in Normal, and she says “she is the best pup”.
